In May 2023, Jennifer K. Williamson joined Bell’s Executive Leadership Team as Executive Vice President, Global Supply Chain. In this role, Jennifer leads the Global Procurement team to develop agile and rapid systems, as well as processes and partnerships with high performing suppliers to execute a lean, reliable and on-time supply chain.
Most recently, Jennifer served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Textron Systems, responsible for providing legal and business advice to manage risk as well as support complex transactions, including managing due diligence processes and negotiating agreements. Jennifer led a highly skilled legal team responsible for multiple business divisions, both domestic and international.
Jennifer returns to Bell Textron Inc., following her role as Bell’s Deputy General Counsel for Military Programs in 2019. In this role, she served as the lead attorney for all current and future military programs, advising all levels of the business on strategic matters involving the capture and administration of contracts with the U.S. Government, including foreign military sales customers.
During her Bell tenure, Jennifer served in several roles across the enterprise with increasing responsibility, including, Deputy General Counsel, Director of Commercial Business Affairs, Director of Business Operations for the Bell Boeing Joint Project Office for the V-22 Program and Assistant General Counsel in support of U.S. Government contracts and Supply Chain Management.
Prior to joining Bell, Jennifer worked as a civilian attorney for the Department of the Army’s Judge Advocate General’s Corps, as the Chief of the Administrative & Fiscal Law division at the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence, Fort Rucker, AL. In this role, she served as the installation’s only contracts attorney for four years, in addition to working as a labor and employment law counsel.
Jennifer served in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps as a Captain from January 2003 through March 2009. During her active-duty time, she served with the 82nd Airborne Division, wherein she completed two deployments to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. As a JAG Officer with the 82nd, Jennifer served as a Legal Assistance Attorney, the Chief of Administrative & Civil Law, and Trial Counsel. Jennifer was also the Chief of Administrative & Civil Law and the Senior Defense Counsel at Fort Rucker, AL.
Jennifer graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999, and subsequently earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver College of Law in 2002. In 2014, Jennifer also received an MBA from the University of Auburn-Montgomery.
