John Dandurand

John Dandurand was named Bell’s executive vice president of Human Resources in March 2023. He oversees a global team of HR and internal communications professionals that makes sure every employee feels empowered to go above and beyond in support of the company’s vision while living Bell’s values every day — to Thrill our Customers, Act Swiftly and Decisively, Make the Impossible Possible, Find a Better Way and Lift Each Other Up.

 

Before joining Bell, John was vice president and general manager for McCauley Propeller Systems, with responsibility for leading a cross-functional team at one of the world’s largest full-line propeller manufacturers. Prior to that, he was the vice president of European Service Centers for Textron Aviation. In this role, he provided leadership and oversight for teams at Service Facilities, Line Stations and Mobile Service Units throughout Europe. John ensured customers received the ongoing aircraft maintenance and support needed to maximize aircraft availability and effective operations.

 

Having worked within the Textron family of businesses for 25 years, John also has an extensive background in human resources, including roles at Textron Aviation and Bell earlier in his career. He earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and industrial and labor relations from Kansas State University and a master’s degree in management from Friends University. He has also completed Textron’s Executive Leadership Program at Thunderbird University and Senior Executive Leadership Program at Duke University.

 

When not at work, John enjoys spending time with his family, boating, traveling and working on projects at home.
