I'm Dan from Bell. We're here on the beautiful South Island at the Warbirds Over Wanaka Air Show, and I really want to take you for a quick look around the Bell 505. Let's have a look. So one of the first things that people notice about the Bell 505 is the amazing visibility. If you take a look at this door, it's almost entirely a window. As we move inside, you can see the wraparound windshields on the front, and whether you're a pilot, a copilot, or a passenger in the rear, you're gonna have excellent wraparound visibility, which is really good for safety. But also it's what you want to be in a helicopter for -- you're out there to look around and see the world. Let's have a look at the cockpit. The next thing that's apparent with the Bell 505 is the clean cockpit. There's minimal switching and a move to glass with the Garmin G1000 NXi. It allows the pilot to quickly glance down and gain all the situational awareness and aircraft parameters they need, but importantly, allowing you to keep your eyes outside and fly safely. So the Bell 505 is a five-place helicopter -- pilot plus four passengers. You'll notice with these seats that they're actually higher than the seats in the front, giving passengers in the back full view over the front of the aircraft, so that they can see what's going on in the front, as well as getting excellent visibility out the side. So the Bell 505 is very versatile -- you can see that the three seats in the back are removable, one or all, and it's a very quick and easy operation to move you into a utility configuration, utilizing the flat floor for any cargo or special mission that you may have. I'll show you how to use the seat. We locate the handle at the top and all you do is lift -- it releases the pins, and you pull it, lift it out. So pretty simple. Another great aspect of this aircraft is the engine. The Bell 505 has a Safran helicopter engine, the Arrius 2R. Let's go and have a look at it. So the Bell 505 with the Arrius 2R engine has ample power for its internal gross weight. What you'll find is at its maximum internal gross weight, it's overpowered, giving the pilot the safety margins that you need to fly in all sorts of conditions, altitudes and temperatures.
