Life Flight Networkのクルーは、島々や山岳地帯、沿岸に立ち込める霧、急変する天候などによりアクセスが困難な太平洋岸北西部全域で活動しています。Bell 429とBell 407からなる混成機群により、道路や橋、船舶ではアクセスできない場合でも遠隔地の患者様のもとへ駆けつけ、IFRルートを飛行し、移動型高度救急医療を提供しています。
Life Flight Network answers calls across Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana, including remote islands, peninsulas and mountain communities that can be difficult or impossible to reach by road or boat.
The Bell 407 and Bell 429 extend operational reach in changing weather. IFR-capable aircraft help crews navigate coastal fog, low visibility, mountains, ice and snow while delivering patients to care much faster than ground transport.
For the crews, the work is demanding and rewarding. They operate as a team, keep the aircraft and medical equipment ready, and wait for the call to bring care to patients who need access.
